Students will receive a progress report, highlight their strengths and areas of improvement as well as a suggested, next course available.Class Experience
In this class, students will begin the Piano Adventures Premier Lesson book in a fun and engaging way that will include theory games reinforce the concepts learned! They will receive instruction from a teacher who is patient, encouraging as have more than 13 experience in teaching young learners. There is no prerequisite to this course, any beginners that fit the age range is welcome to join. Upon completion of this course, part 2 is available to complete Piano adventures Premier book and move onto level 1 book. Students will continue to learn: * Position at the piano and posture and good technique * Keyboard Geography and how to find and recognise the keys on the piano quickly and easily * Finger numbers and how they relate to playing on the piano and finding the correct notes * Develop reading confidence from Bass CBAGF and Treble CDEFG

Learning the sets of 3 black keys and learn some songs and improvisations on the black keys
Lesson 3:
Basic Rhythm - quarter notes
how to draw a quarter notes
Lesson 4:
What is a music stop sign
learn how to identify a music stop sign and play songs with quarter notes

I am teacher Maggie from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have been offering group music lessons and private piano lessons for 13 years. I have taught children as young as 4 and up to teenage years. I am a Royal Conservatory Of Music Canada - Elementary Piano Specialist.
I will be teaching group music classes here with focus on rhythm, theory concepts and basic keyboard geography.
I love cooking, hiking, crafting and traveling. I also play the flute and ukulele.
