Class Experience

Starting Meditation Practices:

For children who are just beginning their meditation journey, the class may start with simple breathing exercises and mindfulness activities. Meditation can benefit children of all ages, including very young children who are total beginners. Starting early can help children develop a lifelong practice of mindfulness, concentration, and stress reduction.

Some examples of starting meditation practices for children include:

Breathing exercises:
Mindfulness activities:
Guided visualization:

It's important to note that in the beginning stages of meditation, children may not be able to sit still or concentrate for very long periods. That's okay! The focus should be on creating a positive and supportive environment where children can explore their emotions and develop their skills over time.

In conclusion, starting meditation practices like breathing exercises, mindfulness activities, and guided visualization can help children develop focus, concentration, and reduce stress and anxiety. By creating a supportive environment, children can explore these practices and develop their skills over time, without feeling pressured to sit or concentrate for long periods.

Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a teacher in the United Kingdom with an NVQ3 in CCLD (Children's Care, Learning and Development) and a London Art School Diploma holder. I've worked with preschools, nurseries, and special needs children for the past 13 years, and it's been more than 7 years since I launched my own art club, "Fun at Art Club," which caters to children from nursery to advanced learners and is offered as after-school art classes in several local schools.

My goal is to instil a love of creativity as well as the ability to make mistakes and not let them define us. Don't give up; instead, strive to improve things. If you make a mistake, don't give up; I'll assist you with my knowledge and step-by-step guidance. I will assist them in forming creative ideas and bringing their vision to life, as well as those who appreciate making their work look professional.

I understand that the classes scheduled might not be convenient for you, but if you are serious about learning, please reserve a time slot on my calendar.
