This one-time class gives them the opportunity to get the wiggles out while pretending to be different animals as we go through a safari. We will roar like lions, prance like a giraffe, stomp like an elephant, and gallop like a zebra. This class will include fun movement games too! Students will learn basic stretches such as pike, straddle, and butterfly. They will also learn dance elements such as passes, gallops, jumps, and more!
An open area within enough space to move is required. Dancers should be barefoot (or in athletic shoes if needed) to prevent slips or falls. Parental supervision is needed to avoid injuries, but parents should stay off-camera to follow the privacy and safety guidelines of Outschool. Students may enjoy having a water bottle nearby.
