Let's get moving and have fun! In this ongoing course, learners will participate in engaging, themed scavenger hunts and have a time of show and tell with their peers. Learners will have one minute to find an item in their house based on a specific prompt. After the minute is up, we will gather back together for a time of show and tell. Learners will take turns sharing the item they chose and why they chose that item. This course will be a fun way for your child to learn, get moving, and socialize with their peers. If your child enjoyed my one-time scavenger hunt classes, this is the place for them! Please note that some learners may require your assistance finding items for the scavenger hunt. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello Parents and Guardians! My name is Hannah, and I am from a small town in Central Pennsylvania. I have a Bachelor of Social Work Degree. I am currently an online ESL teacher and had worked in a program for high school students and adults with intellectual and development disabilities for the past three years as a direct care worker and as a program manager.
I have a heart for students with varying abilities and special needs. It is my goal to create a warm and welcoming classroom environment which cultivates a comfortable learning experience and encourages friendships. I believe each student has their own set of strengths which deserve to be acknowledged and built upon.
In my free time, I love to care for my houseplants, create floral arrangements, make crafts with essential oils, and mentor students with special needs. I will be creating classes in which I can teach these passions of mine to your child!
I am excited that you are considering one of my classes. If you have questions or would like to request a class, please reach out to me! You can also follow my profile to be notified when I make new classes available!
See you in the classroom!
