Let's explore the plant life cycle! In this one time class, learners will be introduced to four stages of the plant life cycle. Learners will sequence each of the stages as well as create a fun and beautiful flower craft.

Class Experience
Welcome to class! In this one time class, learners will be introduced to the stages of the plant life cycle. As we learn each step, learners will sequence the life cycle. Learners will also have a chance to create their own beautiful flower craft at the end of class and show and share it with their peers. I am a fully licensed special education teacher for grades K-12 who currently holds a Bachelor’s of Arts. I have over 13 years experience teaching children. I have taught preschool in childcare centers as well as elementary schools. For the last 8 years, I have taught in a K-5 special education classroom (adaptive curriculum) in all subject areas. I have been trained in sensory integration, alternate assessments, data collection, and project-based learning.
2 files available upon enrollmentClass packet will be provided to learners upon enrollment containing our sequencing cards as well as flower coloring pages for craft time. Learners will need white school glue, salt, watercolor paint, and a paint brush. A picture guide of supplies will be provided to learners upon enrollment.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Assistance may be needed to complete hands-on tasks in class. Lessons are taught using interactive and informative slides via Zoom Screenshare. No accounts or log-ins are required for this class.
