"We're Going on a Bear Hunt" by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury is a classic children's tale that has delighted children for years. In my 30 minute class we will start class with a welcome song. Then we will move into acting out the story while watching beautiful illustrations from the book flash across the screen. Next we will play a few quick movement games and sing another song before ending class. Little kids can not be expected to sit still and I won't ask them to. We will be...

I loved reading this story to my children when they were small. I want to spread the joy of this story as far and wide as I can. When I teach younger students I bring a level of happiness, caring and energy to the virtual classroom that reaches through the screen. Allow your child to jump, dance, and sing for 30 minutes with me and other little ones.
None, but I will include a few activity sheets for print out in case you would like to do some follow up activities.
1 file available upon enrollmentI will include an extra activity packet with templates to make puppets and a coloring page. You can extend the activity after class with these art activities if you like.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
In order to get the most out of this class please set your child up in a space that gives them room to move and dance. Set the computer up so that I will be able to see your child as they move around from a sitting position to a standing position (remember we will be dancing around a bit). Also, while I may have to mute the microphone at some point lets start with the microphones on. I want the kids to hear each other sing and chant as we do the activities.
