Description

Class Experience

Students will learn about social-emotional skills through dancing, stretching, and movement. 

Our class begins with stretching and mindfulness activities. These mindful activities include breathing techniques, stretching, and paying attention to the 5 senses. After this, the teacher will lead the class in movement activities. Movement activities including making a rhythm (students will take turns adding a word to a phrase while clapping/stomping/marching a beat), It's My Turn (students will...

Students will learn foundational social-emotional skills through movement.

All of our teachers have been elementary and early educators for over 5+ years. We all teach math, phonics, and social-emotional classes on Outschool.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Since we will be exercising, students will need appropriate space to move, jump, do pushups, etc. Please, ensure your child has a clear space to move. Thank you!
