Description
Class Experience
This is a flexible course (FLEX) meaning there are NO LIVE MEETINGS. This option is great for families who want to complete engaging and fun lessons, at their own pace. Learners are provided video lessons and able to watch and complete their lessons at the times that are most convenient for them. Our virtual classroom is open 24/7! Let's have some fun building fun and engaging play spaces for our favorite ocean animal toys. Each week we will create a new play center for our ocean animal toys...

I am a fully licensed special education teacher for grades K-12 who currently holds a Bachelor’s of Arts. I have over 13 years experience teaching children. I have taught preschool in childcare centers as well as elementary schools. For the last 8 years, I have taught in a K-5 special education classroom (adaptive curriculum) in all subject areas. I have been trained in sensory integration, alternate assessments, data collection, and project-based learning.
Small ocean animal toys, weekly printable, liquid glue, water, liquid starch, blue & green food coloring, rice, hand sanitizer, shaving foam, cooked spaghetti noodles, plastic storage pages, large plastic container.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Educator videos are located on Youtube. Direct links to lessons will be provided in the classroom. No personal information or log-ins are required. Parental guidance and assistance will also be required during fine motor activities (cut and paste, hands-on crafts, using paints) as well as monitoring play.
