Class Experience

Below is the supply list needed for four weeks at a time and will updated each week for better preparation. ———————SEPTEMBER S.T.E.M. CHALLENGES——————— (Sept. 5th - 9th) --- Pom Pom Popper --- 1 plastic cup, balloon(s), pom pom balls, scissors, and tape measure or yardstick. (Sept. 12th - 16th) --- Paper Helicopters --- paper (cardstock), paper clip, and scissors. (Sept. 19th - 23rd) --- How Strong Is Spaghetti? --- 2 packages of raw spaghetti noodles, 2 sheets of styrofoam (found at any craft store), books, blocks. (Sept. 26th - 30th) --- Shoebox Marble Run --- shoebox or shoebox lid, LOTS of craft sticks, hot or low temp glue gun, and marble(s).
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some S.T.E.M. challenges may require the help of an adult. Per Outschool Policy, adults are allowed to assist their learner but off camera for the safety of other learners in the class. Please advise, observe and help your learner with the use of any scissors, glue guns, etc.
