In this ongoing class, little engineers will complete a weekly step-by-step STEM challenge! Learners will discover and utilize the combination of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics while constructing within the weeks theme!

Welcome Little Engineers!

Have your engineers ever wondered and asked how different items around us work? In this class, learners will uncover various facts and simplified information that go along with each weeks S.T.E.M. challenge. The activities we complete are hands-on, and apply to the world around us. S.T.E.M. for learners develops creators, thinkers, problem solvers, doers, innovators, and inventors! 

Each week we will learn and discover together the amazing abbreviation of S.T.E.M....

Below is the supply list needed for four weeks at a time and will updated each week for better preparation.  

———————MARCH S.T.E.M. CHALLENGES———————

🏀 (Mar. 6th - 10th) - March Madness (Basketball) ⛹️‍♀️

- 10 large popsicle sticks
- 4 rubber bands
- 1 ping pong ball (or something similar)
- Tape
- Plastic cup or plastic water bottle cap
- 20 pipe cleaners
- 10 straws
- Yarn
- Cardboard
- Scissors

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Some S.T.E.M. challenges may require the help of an adult. Per Outschool Policy, adults are allowed to assist their learner but off camera for the safety of other learners in the class. Please advise, observe and help your learner with the use of any scissors, glue guns, etc.
