In this hands-on winter themed class, learners will learn fun facts about polar bears and their dens. Then, they will work to create a den for our polar bear friend and her cubs!

Welcome little creators! I am so excited for this winter themed STEAM challenge! We will be problem solving and sharing our ideas on how to create a den for a polar bear and her cubs using different materials that you will be instructed to bring once you sign up. At the beginning of class, we will learn all about polar bears and their dens. Your learner will then be challenged to create their very own polar bear den. We will share our ideas with each other and work together to design our dens. I will be spotlighting throughout class to show each child’s den creation! *Please be nearby in case your learner needs any assistance or guidance using glue or scissors. Also, please remain off camera while providing supervision in this class.

Hello! Welcome to my Outschool classroom! I LOVE teaching through pretend play. My classes are for young explorers, ages 3-6, and I offer many different types of classes that are taught through fun and interactive adventures. Your little one will have so much fun exploring ABC's, counting, landscapes, and animals, as we go on our various adventures, all while building foundational math, reading, and speaking skills!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I have 8 years of teaching experience. I have experience as a 2nd grade elementary teacher and as an online ESL teacher, to children ages 4 to 12. I also have experience with teaching play-based learning activities to small children, ages 18 months to 5 years old.
I am a mother of three. I have two girls, 13 and 3, and I just recently had my baby boy. I appreciate your support of my classes, as they are what are helping me to be able to stay home with my babies.
I believe that learning should be engaging and fun, all while challenging students to think critically and creatively. I also work hard to build relationships and engage every child that joins my virtual classroom.
