In this class, children will learn the basics of healthy cooking and nutrition. They will gain practical cooking skills, understand the importance of balanced meals, and discover how to make tasty recipes that are good for them. Learners will build independence as they complete steps on their own, such as measuring ingredients or mixing, fostering a sense of accomplishment and self-reliance. This class features simple, age-appropriate, easy-to-follow recipes and easy-to-handle ingredients. Learning Goals

We have experience working with learners of all abilities, including ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ASD and more. Learners of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged to join us in class. Please contact us for more information.
Parental Guidance
🍉 Recipes will be posted in the classroom on Sunday night, so that all learners and families will have time to shop and prepare as necessary.
🥕 Learners should have access to basic cooking and baking supplies, such as measuring cups, measuring spoons, mixing bowls, a spatula, a spoon for mixing, a baking sheet and a 13x9 (or similar) baking pan.
🧀 Learners may need assistance from adult family members to do certain tasks, such as prepare certain food items and pre-heat oven.
