Class Experience

Beginner Level
Welcome Little Chefs Acdamey! Join us every Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:15 PM for a fun and engaging cooking adventure where we explore a new recipe each week. From tasty snacks to sweet treats, we’ll create various dishes while learning about different ingredients and simple cooking techniques. 

For safety, this class will not use any oven or stove. The microwave may be used occasionally with parental guidance if needed. To get started, your child will need a few basic tools: An apron, measuring cups and spoons, a kitchen scale, a cutting board, a plastic chef knife, mixing bowls of various sizes, a spatula, a whisk, a fork, and a spoon. Don’t worry—you won’t need every tool every week! I’ll send a weekly email with the tools needed for each recipe.

Sneak Peak into the first month of classes:

Week 1 March 25: Kid's Pizza: This week, we’re making fun and tasty mini pizzas that everyone will love! Perfectly sized for kids and just right for adults, these little pizzas are a great way to get creative in the kitchen. Your child will learn to be creative when choosing their favorite toppings, and assemble their pizzas step-by-step. Whether you like classic cheese, and pepperoni, or want to try something new, these mini pizzas are sure to be a hit for the whole family!

Week 2 April 1: Kid's Spicy Chicken  BLT Wrap: This week get ready for a tasty adventure in our Kids Spicy Chicken  BLT Wrap Class! In this session, we’ll learn essential kitchen skills, like how to wash lettuce properly and safely cut ingredients using a plastic chef knife. We'll also practice the art of folding a perfect burrito wrap, creating a delicious Spicy BLT with a fun twist. It's a great way for kids to learn, have fun, and enjoy a flavorful creation they made themselves!

Week 3 April 8: Kid's Egg Breakfast Sandwich: Get ready for a fun and delicious cooking adventure with our Kids' Breakfast Egg Sandwich class! We'll teach your child how to make a tasty and easy-to-prepare egg sandwich that's perfect for breakfast on the go. With simple steps and a focus on creativity, this recipe is a great way for kids to learn basic cooking skills while having fun in the kitchen. Plus, they’ll enjoy a yummy breakfast they made all by themselves! Join us and discover how easy it is to whip up a quick, healthy breakfast that’s both nutritious and exciting for little chefs!

Week 4 April 15th: Kid's Loaded Nachos: Get ready to build the ultimate nacho experience! In this fun and interactive class, your child will learn how to create delicious Loaded Nachos with all the fixings. We’ll dive into the art of layering crispy tortilla chips with savory toppings and learn to make fresh, creamy guacamole from scratch. This hands-on class will teach essential cooking skills and inspire creativity in the kitchen. 

I can't wait to cook together and help your child create delicious dishes from the comfort of your kitchen!

Parental Guidance
Guidelines for Parents: Please ensure that all necessary materials for your child are prepared in advance, following the source material provided in the class announcement a week before each session. For safety, this class will not use any oven or stove. The microwave may be used occasionally with parental guidance if needed. To create a safe and positive learning environment, kindly check that the kitchen is free of any potential hazards, as young students are still discovering how to navigate this space. If your child will be unable to attend a class, please provide at least a 24-hour notice to process a refund. Refunds will be issued promptly if I need to cancel a class; however, refunds without prior notice will only be considered in the case of an emergency, which we can discuss privately. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
