All of our physical education courses are graded based on participation, students earn a certificate for their engagement and effort. Certificates are awarded based on the student's willingness to participate, try new activities, and contribute positively to the class environment. This approach encourages all children, regardless of their athletic abilities, to take part in physical activities and emphasizes the importance of staying active for overall health and well-being. The certificate serves as recognition of their commitment to physical fitness and as a reminder of the value of staying active beyond the classroom. I am licensed and certified in youth exercise. Please reach out if you need copies of my elementary education degree and/or specialization certifications in physical education. Welcome to Little Bodybuilders, our most popular fitness club for littles—now available as a self-paced 8-week course! Perfectly designed for kids aged 3-7, this exciting program lets your child run, jump, play, dance, and learn real exercises while developing healthy habits—all from the comfort of home and at their own pace! What’s Inside: Every week there is an aprox. 30-MINUTE WORKUT VIDEO with Ms. Shannon, a companion activity, virtual games, and additional brain break movement videos/games that your little can do independently! Weekly Themes: Each week features an engaging theme that brings movement, games, and healthy habits to life. Your child will explore different activities that keep them active, entertained, and eager to learn more. Week 1- All About Me- Favorite Things Week 2- Superheroes Save the Day! Week 3- What’s the Weather? Week 4- Encanto Jungle Jam Week 5- Let’s Go to Space Week 6- Stomp, Stomp! Dinosaur Roars! Week 7- Underwater Adventure Week 8- Disney Pals Workout Videos: Each week, your child will enjoy a fun, interactive workout video that builds strength, coordination, and a love for staying active. You can expect your little bodybuilder to enjoy a mix of fun exercises, dance, and playful movement activities. Every week there is an aprox. 30-MINUTE WORKUT VIDEO! Companion Activities: Alongside the workout videos, I provide a companion activity such as a craft or STEM project that ties into the weekly theme. These activities are optional and add an extra layer of creativity and fun to the week! Virtual Games: To keep the energy high, each week includes a virtual game that can be played independently or with siblings, friends, or family. These games are designed to encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of laughs. Movement Breaks: Suggested movement break videos are also provided, giving your child additional opportunities to move and stretch throughout the week, all aligned with the week’s theme. Healthy Habits: Alongside the physical activities, we’ll introduce simple, age-appropriate healthy habits that your child can easily incorporate into their daily routine. Encouragement and Praise: Throughout the course, your child will receive positive reinforcement and encouragement. Each video workout is structured to help them feel proud of their accomplishments and excited to keep practicing. You can also always post a short video or picture of one of the many simple themed activities such as a toilet paper roll rocket ship during space week or a calm down glitter jar during our underwater themed week. I LOVE responding via a video message made especially for your child! <3 New Exercises to Practice: By the end of each session, your child will have new exercises and dance moves they can practice at home, helping them to stay engaged and active even after the video ends. This helps them to develop the intrinsic motivation to stay active as a life long habit that will serve them well! Little Bodybuilders is more than just a fitness class—it’s an opportunity for your child to build confidence, develop healthy habits, and discover the joy of movement. Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is suggested to make sure your little has a clear/safe space to move, exercise and dance! Keeping hydrated is important, so please make sure your kiddo has a water bottle for our workouts!
Supply List
-Clear space to move -Water for hydration -Barefoot or Sneakers recommended (socks can be too slippery) -Companion activities will require coloring supplies and other craft supplies you typically have at home already. A detailed list is included for each activity upon enrollment.
