In this course, students will read an interactive story, and complete a step-by-step guide to draw a little bear face. The class will include: -introductions -interactive discussion and reading of animal story. This will include reading the story, and asking questions to ensure attention and comprehension. -step-by-step picture guide to draw a little bear face. This will include pictures with the next added step to insure understanding. -the ending time together will include sharing our pictures if the students would like. This encourages empowerment, and being proud of our work we created.

I hope I will ensure a love of reading, learning, and confidence in the students.

Supply List
A piece of paper, pencil/writing utensil, and colors or markers will be needed to complete the drawing.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello!
My name is Meghan, and I'm so glad to meet you.
I look forward to meeting you in a variety of preschool through early childhood classes. I love teaching young children, and sharing that love of learning at an early age. I do this through ideas and topics that interest young learners. The classes I teach will include aspects of dance, music, reading, art, and science. I want to incorporate these topics in a fun, interactive way, that will excite students, but also confirm the topics are being learned properly.
My professional background includes having my Masters degree. I have experience teaching in an early education center in the 2 and 3 year old room, as well as the 5 year old room. I also have experience teaching in our local elementary school.
My teaching values keeping learning exciting, and valuing the relationship with my students. I want to get to know them, and learn what they are passionate about. In that way, I will be able to relate and teach to them on a deeper level.
