Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing art class for little artists, students will learn how to draw, color, and paint with watercolors and acrylics by following the teacher's step-by-step live demonstration! 

Mondays we will be drawing and coloring.
Wednesdays we will be painting with acrylics- but we will begin by drawing with pencil.
Thursdays we will be painting with watercolors- but we will begin by drawing with pencil and/or crayons.

Because this is an ongoing class, if a certain day does not work for...

I recommend little artists wear an old shirt or smock while painting! I also suggest newspaper to lay underneath their art space while painting. 

Mondays:
Paper (any kind will do), pencil, eraser, and something to color with (crayons, markers, or colored pencils!)

Wednesdays:
Paper or canvas, pencil, eraser, acrylic paint (a variety of colors), paintbrushes, cup of water, paper towel for drying brushes.

Thursdays:
Watercolors, watercolor paper, crayons (PARTICULARLY WHITE), pencil, eraser, paintbrushes, cup of water, paper towel for drying brushes.

1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
