What's included

1 live meeting
1 in-class hours
Assessment
Throughout the class, I will have artists share their work with me to see their progress and ask questions as they arise.

Class Experience

Artists will meet to draw and paint a fun and colorful piece. We will use mixed media like paints, markers, and other materials you probably have at home already to create vibrant, energetic, and individual creations.

After quick hellos, we will get right to work with conversation, a warm up, and introduction to the project. I will guide students throughout the class and they will be able to see my artwork on my art cam as a reference. The focus of our project will be inspired by gratitude and this thankful season of the year!

Supplies are posted below but also in the classroom.
Thank you!
Learning Goals
My goal is for artists to create a beautiful and brilliant composition using different media and fun techniques; to inspire them to try more on their own; and for them to take pride in experimenting and exploring something new in art.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from UCLA
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and have enjoyed working with vibrant colors through markers, paints, and chalk pastels. My personal style is more abstract, graphic, and even impressionistic and this is reflected in my own painting style over the years. I enjoy the spontaneity of these creative painting projects and there is no better group of learners to do this with than the younger set!
