Hello Little Adventurers! Every week in this ongoing class we will travel to a new country! How exciting! Let's take a plane, boat or train and immerse ourselves in a new country! This class will help to deepen you child’s knowledge and understanding of the environment, natural world and social environments. By studying geography and learning about new countries children grow to appreciate the differences in cultures and people around the world! The class will be fun and interactive, and I will encourage learners to move around and get involved in what they are learning about! Class will have colouring/drawing worksheet as part of the class and these will be sent in advance. Please note that the worksheet is optional. Class Content Content will vary depending on the country, but here are some examples of content that may be covered in a class: Location- Where is the country? What continent is it in? Capital city- What is the capital city and where is it? Food- What food do they typically eat? How do they eat it? Features- are there any physical or human features? Are there any iconic landmarks? Weather- how is the weather there? What clothes should we wear? We might even learn how to say hello and goodbye in the native language! Where are we going to travel to? Week beginning April 18th - Canada Week beginning April 25th - Mauritius Week beginning May 2nd - Brazil Week beginning May 9th - Seychelles Week beginning May 16th - Egypt Week beginning May 23rd -UAE Week beginning May 30th - New Zealand Destinations will be updated monthly! If you or your learner has any suggestions feel free to send them my way! Previous destinations: China, Spain, Brazil, Egypt, Japan, France, South Africa, Argentina, Mauritius, Poland, Iceland, Madagascar, Thailand, Italy, Mexico, India, Vietnam, Australia, Germany, Cuba, Zambia, Canada, New Zealand, the UAE, Ethiopia, Finland, Singapore, Peru, South Korea and the UK. If your Little Adventurer would like to learn about previous countries please let me know and I can create a one time class specifically for that country. I will still run a class even if there is only 1 learner. If a class only has 1 learner I will always message parents a day before to let you know! Muting - I encourage participation in all my classes and want learners to feel comfortable speaking up in class! Ideally I would love to keep all learners unmuted, however, in a group class there will be times that learners will need to be muted to minimise any distractions, echos or background noise. Please make sure that the leaner knows how to unmute themselves so that they can still participate in the class! Hand raising - in a group class I want to be able to give all learner the opportunity to participate and answer questions. In order to do this I will ask learners to raise their hand if they want to contribute. I will remind learners throughout the class to do so!
Learning Goals
Students will learn about new countries around the world! I hope that they come away from the class with an interest in the world and travelling!

Supply List
Worksheets needed for a class will be sent to you in advance. These will mostly be drawing or colouring worksheets. Please prepare some coloured pencils/pens to colour. If you do not wish to print the worksheet, most activities can be easily completed on paper!
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I'm Aina and I come from the UK, it's great to meet you!
I am an early years teacher and I love to teach social skills, geography and reading classes to young learners. My aim for ever class is to create an inclusive, interactive and fun environment for young learners. I hope that they can leave each class feeling empowered and confident!
