In part one of this class, we will have a literary discussion about the Warrior Cats book series. Students should have some experience with this book series as we will talk about characters, plot, setting, etc. in an interactive and open class style. There will be a lecture to guide the discussion with pauses, encouraging students to express their opinions on the story and think critically about literature. In part two of this class, we will practice building our own cat characters and stories using the Warrior Cats books as a guide. Students will creatively make their own original characters and stories, while receiving feedback from their peers and teacher.
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is for learners to gain a better understanding of literature and learn to think critically while reading. It also aims to connect students through creative character and story building.

Parental Guidance
We will be exploring the Warrior Cats book series, which is child friendly, however, it does contain a fair about of death, war and bloodshed. None of this will be expressed by imagines, but students should be advised before reading.
