Description

Class Experience

Literary Legends is an ongoing book club that meets once a week to discuss the week's reading assignments.  Learners will need to have read the week’s assigned book before class.  
Each week will begin with reviewing the week's reading assignment and checking the readers' comprehension of vocabulary, characters, plot, and other story elements.  We will extend the reading through fun, engaging activities to make text-to-text, text-to-self, and text-to-world connections.  Learners are invited...

40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

The character Dog Man is created when a bomb is set by the villainous cat to destroy the police-dog duo.  Surgeons take the head of the police dog and the body of the policeman to create Dog Man.
There are many jokes about poop and similar topics in all of the books.
