I fell in love with the Harry Potter books through my fifth-grade students, who were among the first to be swept into the Harry Potter craze way back in the 1990's. Since then, I've had the pleasure to introduce Harry's magical world to my own children as well as dozens of online learners. Being a fan as well as a facilitator allows me to connect with my students in a unique way!
2 files available upon enrollmentStudents will need a print or audio version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. All other print materials will be available online in the form of pdf downloads. Students will also need access to basic arts & crafts supplies for optional enrichment activities.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Please note that due to the highly interactive nature of this class, it will be necessary for learners to use both their cameras and their microphones. Students who are not comfortable with this may prefer the flexible schedule version of this course.
