Learning how to think about, speak about, and write about literature is a key aspect of developing as a student and learner. This class will cover the key elements of literary analysis. We will discuss how to analyze both poetry and short stories, explore key literary analysis terms, as well as develop literary analysis essays. Students will learn the language and style of literary analysis.
I have a master's degree from the University of Cambridge, as well as 15 years of teaching experience. I am an approved AP English Literature teacher by the College Board.
Writing assignments will be provided each class for individualized feedback.
Assessment can be provided in any form a family requests.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
