Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner - Advanced Level
Learners are invited to join the fun as we explore figurative language. Using a multimedia interactive learning guide, learners will use videos, short stories, and interactive activities to learn about a different figurative language skill each lesson. Figurative language helps learners understand the idea that language can be more than literal, such as using words to create images or comparisons. Learning figurative language helps to enhance understanding, boost creativity, and improve communication.

Each lesson will use a different LINKtivity® Interactive Learning Guide to explain the given skill, show examples, and have an opportunity for learners to demonstrate their understanding of that figurative language skill. Learners will be given a student activity page to complete during each lesson. After learning all the figurative language skills, learners will create a final project to demonstrate their understanding.

*LINKtivity® Interactive Learning Guide is a fun and interactive multimedia learning guide that will keep learners engaged and motivated with kid-friendly videos, audio clips, graphics, photographs, and more that put them in control of their learning process. Each LINKtivity® has audio support to read the text to students so they can focus on learning. There are also interactive activities built in so students can monitor their own understanding. No account is required to access the LINKtivity®. The LINKtivity® DOES NOT ask for any information from the student.

*Note: This is a SELF-PACED class. There will be NO live meetings. We will do everything using videos, pictures, and posts in the classroom.

*REFUND POLICY: Once the material has been sent to the learner, there will be NO refunds issued.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
