Track your students growth, understand their specific strengths / weaknesses, and receive a personalized plan of action (with resources!) In this one time, one-on-one meeting, students will be given a literacy assessment to determine what literacy skills they have mastered, where they need support, and suggestions to what skills to target next in order to see the most growth. This class is taught in English.
I have been trained in Literacy and Writing Intervention from the Teacher's College at Cornell University in the Reading Rescue and Reading Recovery Programs. This assessment is based on these same principles. The additional resources and materials I send out are specially created for my Literacy Clubs to support Early Literacy, phonemic and phonological awareness, reading fluency, and comprehension.
