Enroll your child in "Lit Lab: Vocabulary Escape Room," an exciting course that enhances vocabulary skills through dynamic, interactive challenges. This course turns learning into a thrilling escape room experience, using both fiction and nonfiction texts to introduce and reinforce Tier 2 vocabulary words. Your child will solve puzzles and decode clues by reading short paragraphs, which promotes critical thinking and contextual understanding. If they answer incorrectly, they will receive explanations and a second chance to answer correctly, helping them progress. Each successful challenge reveals a secret code, allowing them to advance to the next level and earn points, fostering friendly competition on the leaderboard.

The course improves essential vocabulary for reading comprehension and test prep by covering vocabulary development, reading strategies, and critical thinking. Structured as a series of engaging escape room challenges, each session focuses on vocabulary linked to various texts. With interactive discussions, slides, and video clips, my teaching style is hands-on and encourages active participation and collaboration. Your child will engage in guided games and optional collaborative puzzle-solving, ensuring a lively and supportive learning environment.
