US Grade 3 - 6
In this course, students will learn how to master Tier 2 vocabulary words essential for academic success through high-impact learning sessions, enhancing their reading comprehension and test prep skills. They will read short fiction and/or nonfiction paragraphs with vocabulary words and identify their meanings, promoting critical thinking and contextual understanding. Expect an engaging environment with active interactions and exciting language exploration. The class is structured into interactive segments including practice test questions, active discussions, and brief lectures. My teaching style is hands-on and interactive, encouraging active participation. Students will frequently engage in discussions and collaborative activities to reinforce learning. Each session will feature unique questions.
Learning Goals
Students will develop a robust understanding of Tier 2 vocabulary words and their meanings.Students will improve their ability to comprehend and analyze both fiction and nonfiction texts.
