Class Experience

In this Story Time class, students will enjoy listening to a story about Curious George’s adventures at the beach. Students will be encouraged to interact with the teacher and each other by engaging in questions and answers.  

Class time will be structured as follows: 
1) Greetings & Introductions.
2) Pre-Reading Questions: Students may be assigned specific questions to answer.
3) Teacher Read Aloud: Comprehension questions may be asked throughout the story.
4) Post-Reading Reflection:...

Students will improve reading comprehension skills by listening to a story and answering questions about the characters, plot or other details.  Students will practice taking turns and sharing their ideas with others.

I have been successfully teaching story time on Outschool to young learners with my “Listen with Lizzie” series.  My stories include basic information on the seasons, the weather, vehicles and animals.  Recent reviews include:

Color & Activity Worksheets are provided upon enrollment (3-5 pages).  They are in the Classroom Tab attached to the Welcome Message.  These will be reviewed in class as time permits.  Students should have crayons, pencils or markers available.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
