In this class your children will have the ability to learn a choreographed dance to Disney's The Lion King- "Oh I Just Can't Wait to be King"! Children will be taught step by step to this dance in their best attempt. We are here to have fun, learn some fun moves and build confidence. Theatre has been a passion of mine for many years both on stage and directing. I love sharing my passion with others so come and join in some comfy moveable clothes. *No prior dance experience needed- so anyone and everyone should can join! Just a smile and a positive attitude is needed here :)

Parental Guidance
This is an active dance class. We ask that children stretch before class and have water next to them. I ask that they are in a space big enough to move around. If a move is hurting them or they cannot do it please either have them let me know and we can modify or change or they can simple move about freely! Self inspiration is amazing!

Hi All!
Thank you for taking a look into my class, I am so happy you are here! My name is Rachel Volpe and I am currently a 1st Grade teacher in Ct. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Education and a 6th Year Certification in Literacy. I have been teaching in public schools for the past 7 years and love working with students from all different backgrounds and now from around the world! I have a passion for teaching phonics from letters and sounds to segmenting and manipulating sounds within words. I believe having a strong foundation in phonics makes for stronger readers and writers. My hope is or students to feel welcome and heard within all of my classes. Some of my hobbies I am very excited to share on Outschool are theatre and Disney! I am also offering theatre classes where we can learn dances from popular Broadway musical and of course classic Disney trivia! I have had a passion for teaching since I was in Kindergarten.
