Class Experience
In this private class we will be working with tools to help the student see, draw and shade their drawings. The tools we will be using are: large to small, light and loose, simple shapes, relate, negative shapes and tones. We will be focusing on the human form, face and clothing. I will go in depth in how to shade in the tones and shadows to create realism. Week of Feb 13- eye/tones- 1 week Week of Feb 20- eyes/tones- 2 week Week of Feb 27- nose/mouth- 3 week Week of March 6 - eyes/nose- 4 week Week of March 13- eyes/head- 5 week Week of March 20- eyes/nose/head- 6 week Week of March 27- head and all the features- 7 week Week of April 3- head and all the features with tones- 8 week New topics will be added in the upcoming weeks.

Students will

learn: to relax while learning, have fun
The result of all this is building self-confidence.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from Florida State University
I will be teaching Fine Art classes; drawing, and painting , fashion design and fashion sketching. I have a BFA in Costume Design, and a Certificate in Fine Art from Mission Renaissance Fine Art School. I have been teaching for 20 years and creating art for 30. My classes will be fun, relaxed and positive, that is the best way to learn any subject. I have lived in 12 states and 2 countries. I look forward to seeing you in my classes!
