Basic yoga poses, fun (but useful) breathing practices, and music meditation will all be completed in this class. First, we start with breath work and grounding, a mild meditation if you will. Then, we will head into physical yoga via games (i.e. yogi says, pick a card any card, Alphabet yoga, etc.). Through these games each yogi will be asked to participate in the fun and even teach the class. There will be no pressure to participate in class. Finally, we will end the course with a subtle...
I am a 200 hour trained yoga instructor with 2 years of experience in teaching. I also have a mild background in physical therapy, therefore, attention to posture and safe body mechanics will be a main focus.
To prepare for class have a yoga mat, towel/ blanket, and water bottle ready.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Due to this being a very physical class, it is important that all parental guardians are present during class from start to finish. Poses will be simple, gentle, and modifications will be given. However, it would be best for parents, who fully know the learner's physical capabilities, to aid in the practice. It would also be best for parents to notify me before hand if learner's have any physical aliments that I should know about.
