Class Experience
Forrest Gump's mama said it best, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.” Fortunately for you, in this class you will not only know what you're going to get, but also how to make your own chocolates - and just in time for Valentines Day. In this stand alone class, students will learn to make a variety of flavored and filled chocolates that they can keep for themselves or give to that special someone. Your child will create their own box of chocolates (box not included) for that special Valentine. Training will be given in using chocolate, making candy, measurements, and merging of flavors.
As a child, mom made sure that all her sons knew how to bake and cook. This necessity became a passion that still flows in my veins today. I worked in the food business while in college as well as after, and both a chef position and server. I have recently also began a small dessert catering business named, "That Dessert Guy". I feel I am qualified to teach any age that wants to learn and do so in a way that not only will the student know the basics, but will want to keep on baking.
