The students' progress will be assessed by group activities such as games, discussions, and drawing related to the virtue of sincerity.Class Experience
The lessons are sourced in virtues that are essential elements in development of one's character and social skills for establishing healthy and successful social interactions and relationships. We will start by a brief mindfulness practice to introduce the concept of all the gems (virtues) within us. What is the virtue (i.e. sincerity)? Why is it important to practice it? How to practice it? Related Group Activities: discussions, virtue songs, cooperative games, story time, arts (coloring/drawing) Discuss signs of success in practicing the virtue No prior knowledge is required
Learning Goals
This class will guide students through understanding, examples, and related activities how to practice virtues (sincerity) in daily life in interactions with their family, friends, classmates, and teachers.
