Description
Class Experience
In this 2-week Summer Camp, I have sourced the lessons in virtues that are essential elements in development of one's character and social skills for establishing healthy and successful social interactions and relationships. We will start by a brief mindfulness practice to introduce the concept of all the gems (virtues) within us. We will then explore a different virtue each day: What is the virtue (i.e. truthfulness)?,Why is it important to practice it?, How to practice it?, Related Group...
This class will guide students through understanding, examples, and related activities how to practice virtues in daily life in interactions with their family, friends, classmates, and teachers.
The learners can express their understanding of the lesson through the arts such as drawing or poetry. This is highly encouraged.
the coloring sheet provided, blank sheets of paper, crayons or colored pencils for drawing
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The students' progress will be assessed by group activities such as games, discussions, and drawing related to the virtue being discussed.
2 hours 55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
