In this one time class, students will learn to be organized learners by learning to develop organizational skills that will boost study habits, reduce stress, and build life skills. Students will learn to how to set up their planner in this class and taught how to reflect and update their planner on a weekly basis. Students will learn how to prioritize class assignments, school events, appointments, and more. This class will lay the foundation for successfully using a planner. The more...
Students will develop an understanding of the importance of time management by organizing their life events.
There will be no outside homework in this class. Students will be encouraged to continuously use their planners and update them.
-Printed PDF of provided planner pages -highlighters-several colors of choice -pencil -multi color pens, color of choice; at least two different colors -student class assignments such as tests or major project due dates, major events (sporting events, vacations, etc.), etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be provided with a PDF file that should be printed off prior to class. Students will use this planner in class for learning purposes.
