Class Experience

Thinking with a growth mindset is an important life skill that helps us learn from our experiences and not give up when experiencing hardships. In this class, we will take some time to think about what we already know about this skill, answer any questions, and look at/come up with examples of the skill. We will also be talking about why the skill is important and how it might makes us and others feel.

This class is very interactive between the teacher and the learners. Everyone will have multiple opportunities to share their thoughts and experiences with each other!

If your learner enjoys this class please consider having them join our ongoing course which dives deeper into these skills and explores even more concepts related to growing individually and in family/friend relationships!❤️

Michigan Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Greetings Parents!

My name is Ms. Meadows! Welcome to our online family! I live in Michigan and have been a public-school teacher for four years and spent 2020 teaching online full-time! I possess a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-8) with a minor in mathematics. I also have a Master's Degree in Educational Learning and Technology. I've had the privilege to teach second and third grade and enjoy working with all ages. I have learned that every student is different. They learn different, they come from different backgrounds, they have different home lives, and many other factors. For this reason, I strive to teach in multiple different learning styles and to be present, flexible, honest, and open-minded will all my students. They will get my full support before, during, and after each class. In my classes, you can be sure there will be lots of smiles, positivity, and peer interactions. I hope that you will join me in our online family! I am excited to learn and have fun together!
