Have you ever wondered what life is like on a farm? Join me as I take you on a tour of my 80 acre ranch in Kansas. We will see animals such as horses, cows, goats, peacocks, llama, and chickens. I will go through how we care and feed our animals. Every tour will be a little different. Sometimes we will have foals and sometimes we we won't depending on the time of year. Foals are usually on our farm from May to August. The learners will learn the proper names of animals such as mares for female horses and stallions for male horses. The learners will learn how to tell the difference between peacocks (male) and peahens (female). The learners will learn about the daily life of a farmer and how we take care of our animals. I will show the learners what we do for chores and how we feed our animals. The class will start with a little question and answer session. Then I will switch to the zoom class on my phone so we can go outside to see all the animals. Then we will end the class with any questions the learners may have from the tour.
