Description

Class Experience

We will discuss the life cycles of humans, frogs, and butterflies.

For each animal- students will share what they already know about the animal.  We will watch a video demonstrating the life cycle and students will share their observations.  Then, I will use google slides to introduce the vocabulary and key points of each life cycle stage.  Students will draw and label their own version of a life cycle.

We will conclude class by comparing/ contrasting the life cycles.  What life cycle...

Next Generation Science Standards:  Develop models to describe that organisms have unique and diverse life cycles but all have in common birth, growth, reproduction, and death.

I have been a science teacher in Chicago for 10 years.  I've already taught this to my class during virtual school!

Students should have paper and coloring supplies to draw.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
