In this one time course, we will discuss the Life Cycle of a Butterfly and create a butterfly craft to go along with our learning.

Class Experience

In this class, we will watch a short time-lapse video of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly.  We will discuss how the life cycle of a caterpillar is a never-ending circle and draw a quick picture of the cycle.  We will end the class by creating a butterfly craft.  We will need coffee filters, markers, and a pipe cleaner to complete our butterfly craft.

Students will be able to explain the life cycle of a caterpillar by the end of this class.  They will leave class with a completed butterfly craft.

I am a credentialed elementary teacher.  I have taught in a Kindergarten classroom and discussed the life cycle of a butterfly with Kindergarteners.
