Calling all storytellers, adventurers, builders, engineers/coders, and more! Have you ever wanted to direct your own adventure in a book, movie, or video game? Have you wanted to see what it's like to develop a story, build the backdrop, and see how people react to your characters, plot, and puzzles? Or maybe you just like to go adventures, and don't care what happens as long as you're having fun with friends? This is the club for you! Each week is fluid as the teacher or classmates will provide build ideas or adventures for others to go on. We switch between all of the game's modes (creative, survival, and adventure). Choosing to participate in a story-line or adventure is optional, if you would rather build on your own you are welcome to do that. This is a great class for those wishing to become more social and meet other fellow Minecrafters and are open to having fun in unexpected ways. In class we take inspiration from each other's builds, and the teacher is always ready to teach building techniques, redstone, and commands that will help the directors/storytellers get their games out as envisioned. Role-play is encouraged but OPTIONAL. As is building your own story-line. Many students just build or participate on their own and sometimes say very little. Other times there is a lot of laughter and shouting as the adventures get very exciting! Activities and events achieved in previous class: * Built entire medieval cities including a library of real server history and lore * Fought in battles and wars (pvp and pve) * Explored lost ruins and defeated mythic bosses * Isolated a rampaging virus that was leaked from the lab * Developed hilarious and exciting games that are completely unique and can't be found on the Hive and CubeCraft * Signed peace treaties and settled conflicts in grand halls Come join us for the adventurous fun, practice in role-play, and improvement in Minecraft's survival game-play.
