50 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
Come join us for a fun game night to make some new friends! There are no "themes" from week to week as I try to use the interests of those in the room. When students come in, I take an inventory of their interests. I also try to ask this ahead of time in a chat through Outschool! I will try to incorporate topics that follow those interests in the games throughout the evening. I promote a growth mindset and positivity in my classroom. We all play the games, regardless of if we know about the topic. It's a great way for students to learn something new, expand their horizons, make new friends, and practice good sportsmanship. The games are reviewed for age appropriateness and quality. The platforms for games are Blooket, Kahoot, and Gimkit. Students are not required to have an account on each platform to play the games; however, they may choose to create accounts (with parental permission). Potential Game Topics: - Sports - TV Shows/Cartoons/Movies - US States - Music - Countries - Flags - Disney/Pixar/Marvel - Art - Food - Weather - Cars - Animals - Books - And so much more! Feel free to join us for one or many of the game nights! It's completely up to you!

Parental Guidance
Please note that a variety of topics will be covered. If you have any specific topics that you wish for your child not to be exposed to, please discuss this with me prior to the class so that I can ensure the topic is not addressed.
Blooket, Kahoot, and Gimkit are the platforms on which we will play the games. An account is not required to play. I will share my screen for Kahoot questions and for the leaderboards while students will play on their computer or device.
