Welcome friends!
In this class we will be exploring your musical theatre voice through performance and characterization.
Have you ever dreamed of being on Broadway, performing at your school talent show, or just putting on an awesome living room concert for your family and friends? Then this is the class for you! This class will dive deeper into all aspects of performing and "Acting the Song."

Each class we will be doing vocal warm-ups and movement exercises, and learning about breathing techniques, articulation and dynamics. We will also be exploring acting exercises and techniques that will help each student discover a "sense of place" and ways to personalize a song.

Students will each be assigned their own individual musical theatre song that they will work on for the duration of the class.
Students will learn through teacher guidance and interaction with fellow classmates.

The goal of the class will be to perform the assigned song by the end of the three weeks with confidence and strength, using all the techniques the students learned in class.
