Welcome to Level 5 Violin! This class is for you if you: *have played the violin for at least 3-6 months *can play repertoire at a similar level to the first 6-8 pieces in Suzuki Book 1 (all on A and E strings) *want to learn more about music reading *want to learn more music on your violin! Week 1 - Warm-ups - We will work on different warmups for both bow and left hand, including finger patterns & tone production Week 2 - Repertoire - As a class, we will select repertoire including but not...
Students will learn more repertoire and also focus on attaining more skills in note reading, thus enabling them to learn more independently. By the end of Level 5, students should be able to play pieces in Suzuki book 1 up to #11 (Andantino).
Practice in between classes is required.
