Hello and welcome to my class! This class focuses on learning a new book from the Oxford Reading Tree series each week. These books are very popular in helping children to learn to read and to develop their phonics, spelling, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension skills. Hello! My name is Vicki. I am a mum to my beautiful 5 year old son and I am also a fully qualified primary school teacher. I LOVE to teach and I have been teaching for 15 years.
I have taught students from age 3 up to 11 years in a UK primary school and I specialize in teaching early years students and students with special educational needs.
For the past 2 years I have also been teaching online alongside my school teaching job. Online I have taught students from age 3 to 16.
I love to make teaching fun for the student and I often relate my classes to popular TV characters to engage children further. I teach in a multi sensory way as I think that is how children learn best and it helps to create a lifelong love of learning.
