Class Experience

This is the 3rd level of this course, in which learners will get familiar with essential verbs, questions, sentences and vocabulary in Spanish. Every week, we will practice, read, play, listen to music, watch videos in Spanish and learn how to communicate in the second most spoken language in the world. Students will learn essential vocabulary that will enable them to greet, request for assistance, express like or dislike, talk about themselves, and express possession. They will learn essential verbs and conjugation applied to dialogs and real life situations. The course also develops their intuitive and critical thinking by encouraging the students to deduct the language from clues and hints.

I am a native of the Spanish language and have 10 + years of experience teaching languages to adults and children. I love teaching children as I am a child myself in a grown up body and can put myself in their shoes without any problems. I find teaching children is one of the most rewarding things I do, and the one that has given me the best satisfaction as a music professional, language teacher and as a person. As an individual, I love languages and have a natural ability to learn them. I use this to my student's advantage by teaching them in unconventional, fun ways. I love working with children's natural curiosity and my biggest reward is to see them advance and develop one step at a time.

Students will have materials analyze and learn related to the class like videos, songs or texts. All materials will be provided in .pdf, mp3 or links. Students will also be provided with a Students ID to access Flipgrid in order to post videos of their activities.

All the materials will be supplied electronically to the student. However, parents are encouraged to install the Kahoot app on an additional device for the learners to play Kahoot quizzes in class.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot

This class will be assessed in class with practical examples of conversation and activities. There will also be around 1 to 2 hours of additional work per week in the form of creative projects.

1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
