Class Experience

Thank you for taking some time to find out about my Level 3! Rock Out For Beginners Class.
These classes are suitable for anyone of who would like to brush up on their guitar abilities or is picking up the guitar for the first time.

In this level you'll learn:

How to develop your voice and tone: one of the fundamental and most valuable elements to learning the guitar is sounding different from anyone else. Finding a unique sound on the guitar is what helps Slash from Guns n' Roses, Santana or Eddie Van Halen stand out from the crowd.

2) 4 finger & bar chords: there are many segments to fully developing your chord changing ability. It is highly recommended to learn how to play chords that require all fingers. The barring technique is also imperative to build. Barring allows you to play any chord no matter how difficult. By the end of this level 3 course, you will have in your arsenal, many of the necessary chords you'd need to know

3) Strumming: by now you've learned 4 and 8 beat patterns. In level 3 I will be teaching up and down stroke patterns up to 16 beats long and a variety of common 16 beat rhythms used in many pop and rock genres.

4) 1 entire vocal melody played on the guitar: along with playing rhythm, melodic and lead guitar is an essential part of any amazing guitarists vocabulary. During level 3 you will learn how to play an entire vocal melody from front to back using your guitar.

5) How to Read Tab: it can be extremely intimidating to learn an instrument and how to read sheet music at the same time. That's why an amazingly easy charting system was created called tab. Guitar tabs help you to know exactly what string and fret to play without getting frustrated at the complexity of sight-reading music notes. Professional guitarists have adapted this simple system into their playing many many decades now and it is widely accepted as a necessity for any real musician to understand thoroughly.

There is so much this course will cover and introduce you to. I look forward to having you with me during the first initial steps you take on your journey to becoming an incredible guitarist!
