Class Experience
CAMERAS will be asked to be ON during class for attendance purposes. As you know, Outschool classes are specifically for children. Per Outschool's policy, each painter must be registered separately. _______________________ PLEASE NOTE: To respect the privacy of children, and my personal MUSE ART brand, I have elected to NOT share videos of classes. I truly appreciate your understanding in this sensitive matter.
Welcome! I'm excited to paint with you! Don't forget to wear a paint smock or painting shirt and to protect your surfaces from paint. Please have your supplies out and ready when entering the classroom/waiting room. 11x14 vCanvas or Thick paper ( watercolor or mixed media so it does not tear. ) *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14. or smaller. This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. ACRYLIC Paint Colors White ( We will use a lot ) Bright Blue Brown Black Tiny bit of green Tiny bit Yellow orange ( pre - mixed or can mix up with yellow and speck of orange ) Tiny bit of Red Orange (Bright dark orange) Tiny bit of Magenta / bright purple 3 different sized Brushes : 1 inch Flat brush Medium ROUND brush with a nice point ( size 8 or size 10 ) Small Detail ROUND brush with a nice point ( size 3 or 4) 2 Bowls of water ( one to be saved for final touch ups ) Paper towels or old cloth. Paint palette with wells to hold paints. Paint smock
1 hour 5 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
