Class Experience
In this on going course, learners will learn to read using phonics for words with r-controlled vowels (ar, or, ir, er, ur). Reading R-Controlled Vowels With Mrs. Rose (Level 10): In this class, students will learn to read and write words with r-controlled vowels. Using letter symbol cues and pictures, students will practice the sounds, how to blend, and read words with r-controlled vowels. A worksheet is provided for the student to support the activity in class, for word and writing...
In this class, students will be able to read words with r-controlled vowel sounds. Using letter symbol cues and pictures, students will practice the sounds, how to blend, and read words using text. Students will also participate in phonemic awareness exercises to continue to strengthen their reading skills.
While the worksheet is part of class, there may be days that it is not completed within the class time. Please have your child complete the worksheet for practice.
Each week, the worksheets will be posted to the classroom page. Students will need the worksheet during class time each meeting. a marker (I have found markers to work best, as then I can see the writing when students share.) white board and marker a quiet workspace
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
