🚨 This is for those who have completed the "Level 1 Part 1" Continuing Piano Adventure Beginner Course with Ms. Diana.

Along with our songs, each class will give time for students to learn and as well as perform for their class.

***Due to the nature of this course involving moving into more challenging material, practice is REQUIRED. Please be prepared to assist your learner with incorporating at least 3-4 days a week with the ability to play through their pieces for 10-15 minutes. This short time will not only build confidence, but as educator Samantha Coates says...

“...anything LESS than four practices per week is unlikely to yield skills that will enable the student to be able to play with any sort of competence. And as we’ve said before: you can’t have any fun at something you can’t actually DO.
Practice = competence = FUN.”

We will continue to cover and review the basics while moving into more challenging material:
- Notes on the piano
- Rhythm
- Music Vocabulary
- Reading basic music
- Treble Clef + Bass Clef

***IMPORTANT NOTE***
Once more, as stated above, due to the nature of this course involving moving into more challenging material, practice is REQUIRED.

If you are switching from another teacher or series, please message me and we will set up a private 1-1 intro class to properly place you!

Parental Guidance
Parents, I ask that you please sit with and observe your child for at least the first 4 weeks (entire course if age 7-8), to help guide our young learners, make sure that their camera's are set up properly, and so they are able to have you there to work out any issues that may arise. This virtual world is very new for everyone, and my intention is that learners + parents have the most positive experience possible. Students MUST have their camera on the entire time. This is for: 1. The safety of all students. 2. For me to guide your child through their pieces best. Without being able to see them, it is not possible to assist them in playing to the best of their ability. 3. Please be sure that the camera has the student and piano in view. Again, this will allow for me to better help your child perform their best to correct any technique or questions accurately!

Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I have taught 1000+ students how to read and play piano music in the Group Piano format now for about 10 years. I find that students learn very quickly to become independent readers and musicians - plus have a great time learning alongside their peers!
