Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to: Identify notes on the keyboard Identify notes on the staff Count rhythm accurately Play basic piano pieces
I have taught 1000+ students how to read and play piano music in the Group Piano format now for about 10 years. I find that students learn very quickly to become independent readers and musicians - plus have a great time learning alongside their peers!
REQUIRED: 3-4 Days a week 15-20 minutes Outline will be provided via email to parents + guardians.
1 file available upon enrollmentKeyboard or Piano Students must have their own copy of: Level 1: Lesson Book Faber Piano Adventures https://amzn.to/3ihu0a3
I will give verbal feedback to students during their daily class as well as following classes as needed. I will also message you individually as I want to keep you, as the parent or guardian, aware of how your child is doing in class. This is a team effort it being sure your child is getting the most out of their time in piano class.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Parents, I ask that you please sit with and observe your child for at least the first 4 weeks (entire course if age 7-8), to help guide our young learners, make sure that their camera's are set up properly, and so they are able to have you there to work out any issues that may arise. This virtual world is very new for everyone, and my intention is that learners + parents have the most positive experience possible. Students MUST have their camera on the entire time. This is for: 1. The safety of all students. 2. For me to guide your child through their pieces best. Without being able to see them, it is not possible to assist them in playing to the best of their ability. 3. Please be sure that the camera has the student and piano in view. Again, this will allow for me to better help your child perform their best to correct any technique or questions accurately!
