Are you looking for a class for your that allows your leaner to learn and practice using vocabulary words in the English language? Well, you have come to the right place! What skills will be covered? This class focuses on beginning language skills. Learners will learn and practice vocabulary words related to the animals, including: Pets, Farm, Ocean, Wild, Zoo, Reptiles. Instruction will contain both pictures of the item and the written word. Learners will practice using the words in sentences. Learners will learn key vocabulary words related to the class topic. Learners will learn to read, pronounce, write, and spell the English name of 60 animals. Learners will also practice the sentences such as "I have a ____." and "I don't have a ____." Finally, learners will have the opportunity to apply the new words as they play games on Kahoot. A Kahoot account is not required for this class. How does this work? This class is a self-paced class, so there are no live meetings. Your learner will have access to 6 videos, embedded into the Outschool classroom. The recordings will be recorded as if your learner is in a class. Instruction will introduce words and model how to pronounce each word. Learners will then be directed to Kahoot to play instruction-based games to practice these skills. A Kahoot account is not required for this class. Learners will learn to read, pronounce, write, and spell the English name of 8 pets (cat, dog, fish, etc.). Learners will also practice the sentences, "I have a ____." and "I don't have a ____." 12 mins of video lessons
Lesson 2:
Farm Animals
Learners will learn to read, pronounce, write, and spell the English name of 9 farm animals (chicken cow, chick, pig, etc.). Learners will also practice the sentences, "I see a ____." and "The ____ says ____." 7 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
Ocean Animals
Learners will learn to read, pronounce, write, and spell the English name of 12 ocean animals (dolphin, shark, lobster, etc.). Learners will also practice the sentence, "This is a ____." 6 mins of video lessons
Lesson 4:
Wild Animals
Learners will learn to read, pronounce, write, and spell the English name of 11 wild animals (bear, moose owl, fox, etc.). Learners will also practice using adjectives in the sentence, "It is a ____ ___." 7 mins of video lessons
