Level 1 Contemporary Dance (Ages 13-18)
In this beginner class, students will begin to explore the creativity that surrounds contemporary dance. Learners will be led through a full body warm-up, stretch, improvisation exercises, and contemporary choreography.

Description
Class Experience
Some of what we will cover in class: - proper body placement - flexibility exercises - choreography retention and execution - improvisation exercises
Students should have a clear space to dance, free from any hazards. Students may wear soft dance shoes of their preference, or they may choose to go barefoot. Have a full bottle of water handy!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class involves physical activities that require adequate space to move around freely, proper footwear, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Parental or Guardian supervision is recommended.
